The Scout Rebel Grills Fire Pit is your go-to companion for smaller outdoor spaces that still demand serious heat. Designed for portability and ease, this compact fire pit delivers the same thick-gauge steel, no-nonsense aesthetic and rugged durability as its larger siblings — just scaled to fit patios, courtyards, or camping setups.

Crafted from 3mm thick British steel with a plasma-cut Rebel Grills insignia, the Scout is built to age gracefully with a natural weathering patina that protects and strengthens over time. Simply fire it up, gather round, and let the flame do the rest.

This isn’t garden furniture — it’s a piece of outdoor kit made for fire lovers, BBQ fans, and rebel souls who prefer their evenings alight.

The Scout has a compact footprint ideal for patios, balconies, or smaller gardens — approx. 40cm x 40cm base.

Nope. The corten-style weathering steel develops a rust-like patina over time that protects the surface. Just keep it outside and let nature do the work. If you really want to keep it shiny, give it a wipe with an oiled cloth before / after use to build up a seasoning.

We recommend using it on a heatproof base or paving stones to avoid scorching grass or wooden decking.

It’s a stabilising ring that holds woks, skillets, and the new included cooking grate for better control and safer cooking.

Frequently asked questions

Both. It's a functional fire pit that doubles as an open-flame cooking surface when used with skewers or a grate.

Yes! It comes with a grill plate as standard! Be sure to oil and season the plate as you would do with a wok or similar products.

Lumpwood charcoal or small hardwood logs are recommended for optimal performance and airflow.

Yes, but always place it on a fireproof surface such as a paving slab or heat mat to prevent damage.

Like all raw steel fire pits, it will develop a natural patina over time. Keep it dry or stored inside to minimise surface rust.

Approximately 45–60 minutes after extinguishing the fire, depending on fuel used and ambient temperature.

No tools needed. Just unfold the base and drop in the fire tray.
