You get Texas Red, SPG, Revolution and Hickory Hog. SPG is your clean base on meat and veg. Revolution adds beefy depth. Hickory Hog brings gentle smoke and caramelised savoury notes. Texas Red is your chilli mix for cosy bowls and slow cooks.
Yes. Follow the label with tomatoes for a richer, approachable chilli, or swap tomatoes for beef stock for a tomato-free bowl of red. Brown meat, add 8 tbsp Texas Red for 30 seconds, add 700–900 ml stock, then simmer until tender and thick.
Use SPG as the base at about 1.5–2% of raw meat weight, then add half that amount of Revolution or Hickory Hog. Example for 1 kg meat: 18 g SPG plus 8–10 g of the accent rub. This keeps seasoning balanced and flavour layered.
Overall Mild to Medium. SPG is No Spice, Hickory Hog and Revolution are Mild, Texas Red ranges Mild to Medium depending on quantity and simmer time. For kids, start lighter on Texas Red and stretch with extra stock.
Yes. Oven and traybakes at 180–200°C, oil veg and use 1–2 tsp per 500 g. Slow cooker, reduce added liquid by 25–30% and let Texas Red develop body. Air fryer, go a little lighter on rub, mist with oil, cook 180–200°C and turn or shake halfway.
